Creating your own text adventure app

Any game written for Quest 5 can be turned into an app! The cross-platform apps allow players to play the game using hyperlinks and menus, so there is no need to type. All the standard Quest features are supported, so you can include pictures and sounds within the game. Games save automatically after each turn, so players can pick them up and put them down whenever they have a spare moment to play.

Each app can be customised, so the interface can be tailored to suit the game. It is also possible to add phone-specific features to the game – for example to vibrate the device, or even to access more advanced features such as the compass and GPS location.
