Great game.
There was a bit of a glitch when I was in the market - the game froze up and there was heaps and heaps of stuff in there.
The game also took forever to load (about 5 mins) - I had the same problem playing wizard but at least in this game you didn't really die just lost points.
Looking forward to your future games (esp wizard 2)

Great game. Just wondering though I read up in the comments that there are different endings. Just wondering what these were. I got the yay you left the island with the DVD ending and I'm guessing there is a you left the island without the DVD ending. But is there one where you have to use the 70 odd bullets you have left? Just thinking it would be cool if you got to shoot everyone that was responsible for killing your uncle.

To plug in the vcr I used the click and drag method ie click on the vcr and drag it too the outlet.
2nd - You took the art out of the frame to set the alarm off. if you put something in the frame it might stop the alarm.
PS examine shutters

I gave up on trying to do the statues from where I was, I couldn't figure out exactly what locked what. I started again and followed the instructions. Anyway... I'm at the door to the castle I have cast the shield spell but I can't get to the front door without being killed by gargoyles and such. I read in a previous post something about a lever but I can't find it.
You cast the Shield spell. You feel more than see a shield of force in front of you.
> east
As soon as grab hold of the front door handle the statues and gargoyles spring to life.
Knives, swords, darts and arrows sprout from nowhere looking to skewer you.
They do their job quite well as you are diced into tiny pieces.
You have died.

If it helps this is what I have
You are carrying:
A Spellbook, Robe (worn), a Broom, a Bucket of sand, a Yellow Bead, a Scrap note, a Yellow Bead, a small note, a Red potion, a Yellow potion and an Orange potion.
Illuminate: Lights up the area.
Unlock: Unlocks normally locked objects.
Scribe: Writes a spell on a scroll into your spellbook.
Levitate: Raises an inanimate object six feet off the ground.
Detect magic: Detects the presence of magic or magically imbued objects in the immediate area.
Enfeeble: Significantly decreases the intelligence of the wizard.

Great game so far. I think I'm stuck in two areas.
1) The statues. I've found the note in the dorm room and done as much as I can with the statues but the arms won't move down, they're locked. Heres where the statue is.
The left statue's arm is up.
It's shield is turned to the left.
It's head is turned to the right.
The right statue's arm is up.
It's shield is turned to the right.
It's head is turned to the left.
I can't move either arm.
Also where is Bremove. I've been looking for ages

Great game so far but I've been stuck for an hour.
Where do you use the iron key or the linen package?
and where do you find the screwdriver?
