Freshman Fantastic: boy
This is an adult title. You should be eighteen and be sure that it's legal for you to view sexually explicit material if you want to play this. That said, it's not all that explicit. It is my first attempt at making a game. You play a freshman at Fantastic University, a very small college located in a space station in the middle of nowhere. The object of the game is to sleep with all the female teachers and students. You can lose the game but you should be notified when that has happened. If anybody is at all entertained by this, I'll make up a version from a female perspective with a more intricate plot. If you find bugs or get stuck, let me know.

Thank you! I learned a lot writing this game but I just can't bring myself to goof with it much more. I am aware that the bugs you mention are there and I do realize some of the mistakes I made in the coding and how they could be fixed. For a variety of reasons my motivation to work on this or another adult title has just seemed to vanish. I may very well come up with a new game at some point but I'd probably write it under another name. It would be fun to have a game I could be more 'out' with in my real life... not that I'm exactly incognito with this one.

Look in the gym for Jane's papers. Also, read the monitor to get out of the starting room.

Don't worry too much about it JayJay. It's not supposed to be that hard but some others have had the same problem. Read the monitor. It will get you started.

Ah, that's actually a good point. She really gives it back to you because I didn't want you to lose the game at that point, though you can lose it at other, similar points. Changing the error message makes a lot of sense when you put it that way.

zoni, it's one of the silly and politically incorrect premises of the game that a girl doesn't want to be indebted to a man she doesn't find attractive. I would apologize, but the entire premise of the game is really somewhat offensive, it was kinda the point.

The help command... helps

agusplayer: your hotness level has to be higher than that sexy art teacher.

zoni: You can earn credits in the game by doing workstudy. There's a specific teacher that can help you with that. Mrs. Smith has a hotness level of 8 and Rene has a level of 5. You have to have a higher hotness level or you can't seduce a girl. Try a few of the less sexy ones and then come back to those. You'll get more attractive with experience.

Greg: Honestly, that's why I thought I'd give the explicit content a try. I thought I'd write a game I'd enjoy playing.

Grant: Fae is looking for something. You might have it?

Greg: Thank you so much for the thoughtful criticism. I'd rather have a thoughtful response that will help me improve than a great rating with no explanation.

Okay, I've been away a few days and I'm in the middle of a big move so I'm likely to be away a lot for the next couple of weeks so I'll be slow to post answers and there won't be any bug fixes till I'm settled. The good news is that the new game is underway.

Rene and the Toolbox: You're right, those are bugs. There's at least one other bug that you haven't found. I'll have to fix some things and re-release the game. Mostly though, it's very playable this way so if you haven't played it yet it's still a good way to waist an afternoon.

The book: (spoiler alert) ****

Give the flowers to the boy in the hallway.

I believe you did figure out the painting by now. Be sure to search both the closet and the gym for things you need.

Thank you for the compliment. I hope it's entertaining. I'd like to make more. It was fun to write.

The flowers aren't for Jane. She wants something else. However, if you give them to the boy that wants them, he'll give you some information that comes in handy.

Take a closer look at the monitor in there and that should clear things up for you. Please do let me know what you think after you've had a chance to really play. There are plans for another game and some content written for it, but my personal life is a bit complicated at the moment.

Some things can be opened to reveal other things. Where would a girl store panties?

Yay!

You need the key to open something. There's a lady in the library that I'm thinking you didn't get to. Though, if you finished the game there could be a small bug I need to work out.

I guess I figured people would type help and read the text. The search command is described there. I'll think out how to do that better next time...

Thank you for the rating, and also for the compliment on my spelling. Nobody has ever complimented my spelling before.

The help command in this game contains most of the commands that you will use, except for the "give to name" that LinalLyssic already mentioned. I guess I figured that one was easy but if you are new to text games that might not be such a great assumption. You do need to read everything to pick up on all the hints and you need to "speak to name" just about everybody also.

@LinaLyssic: The thing that you are missing is hidden not in an object but in a room. I probably got that idea from a MUD I play, but anyway you can look for hidden objects in any room simply by typing "search". The painting is hidden in the sort of place you might hide an old broken object, or something you wanted to forget about.

Okay, if Jane walked away then you can still finish the game but you won't win it. She's kinda a hard ass. Beelfetter actually doesn't have the paining, unless you gave it to him, and I'm pretty sure you can't do that. He hid it someplace. You should try searching places you might hide things.

Thank you so much for playing.

There is one thing that you haven't examined. Tried the game all the way through a couple more times to be sure I didn't goof up. I don't really want to say what it is, in case somebody wants to figure things out alone. I can say that it's something that you might not think to examine and that you probably used at some point already, but you don't need to use to win the game.

I did think a bit about how I wanted the game to be when I sat down to write it and one of the things I wanted was a game that you can lose, because I always feel like those are more fun. When you finally figure it out and win, then there's a sense of, "oh yeah, I beat that". Also, it kinda draws things out longer. You can play through once to see how everything works and then play through again to figure out how to win the thing.

There are ten women. If you end up with a score of ten. You won. If you flub with a woman or two, which is possible with only a few of them, and you've tried everybody. You'll get the losing message.

There's something she wants you to give her. I believe Armando gives a hint about that. Remember that you can examine items, and things in the game and sometimes you'll find other things hidden in them.

There's a boy that wants flowers and a man that will actually ask to see the map so he can fix it.

All the clues are actually in the game. For Beth you need a book of poetry that has that clue in it. It's bizarre and has nothing to do with real poetry. You can get that in the game if you pay attention to the male characters. There's something wrong with that map and you need to fix it. Again, pay attention to the male characters. A couple are just window dressing but most actually have some purpose. If you're still stuck let me know. I'm actually pleased that you played it through and you seem to have figured out the more difficult ones.

I love these, but this one seems a lot harder. I want to solve it by myself but I may have to look through the walkthrough anyway.
