Hi! This is probably my favourite of all your games so far....! Great stuff! Unfortunately I am stuck fairly near the end I think. I have assembled my *toy* but still cannot find a way into the tent. I cannot find the skull and don't know what to do with the trowel! Am going round and round and round in circles but can't seem to make the breakthrough on this one! Please help!!!!! Thanks!

To get the water from the pump...
use bucket on drain (this places the bucket directly underneath the pump)
Turn pump
Now the bucket should disappear and a bucket of water should appear

Looks a great came. Unfortuately I haven't got very far yet. How do I empty the bucket when I have something else in other than what I want.
Also cat is still up the tree and I've not got the furnace alight.

TO empty the bucket just Use bucket on ...... whatever you filled it with in the first place. If it water, use bucket on drain. If its sand use bucket on sand etc....

Thanks I'd tried to kick hit punch and thump the tree and various other things to get the cat down!

Having done well since I am stuck. Probably need skull next but not sure where look. Have tried using trowel everywhere I think!

Whew. This was a great game. I can really tell that you're getting better at making these. Great humor and nice subtle clues in the descriptions. I especially liked the interaction with Simon as a foreshadowing of what to do later. That took me a while to work out (that and looking for the bolt cutters).

I only got 3 out of 5 trophies though. Any clues on the others? I got the Explorer, Exorcist, and Best Best Man.

I'm doing very well at finding it then! Looking forward to find a home for a pot of sticky insects. As far as other tasks to be done I am not rich enough yet nor have any where posh to go. But have an idea of wher ethat will be later.

I am really enjoying the game. But can't seem to get any further than trying to find the skull/ lots of money/ getting past mum anyone any ideas please.

Got marraige certificate and had it signed, but not processed. Seemed rather a lot of money is asked for and I haven't worked out how to pay or get around paying for it. Some hints would be greatly appreciated.

OK so having got my invite and given it to my partner reunited a headless ghost I am in trouble again. Can't seem to get rid of Mum and now having put my ants down in the funcation room I cannot pick them up again. I really am enjoying this game but I am probably missing the obvious again.

Damnit! I'm sorry there is a glitch. I tried so hard to make sure everything works.
You may have to restart as the pot of ants is not take-able, but it is drop-able! You need to use the ants on the banquet

Can I have any help on what to do now? I've got to the inner sanctom but I can't take the feather because I kept being teleported. I've got the pot of holy water and I can't find the skull or figure out how to get the marriage sertificate processed. I really need a hint.

Thanks. A Brilliant Game. Probably the best I've played. The little bits and pieces make all the difference the challanges of time as well as the added extras of hidden trophies. I got 3. I am looking forward to game 4.

A long time ago I played a game called Leisure Suit Larry. I'm not sure which one it was, but when you finished the game, if you didn't get 100%, it would hint at areas to explore in the endscript. Perhaps you can consider writing that into your next game? I'd really love to find the other two trophies, but now that I've beaten it, I find myself unable to explore new commands.

I'm finally getting around to playing this one. Much fun, but of course, I'm stuck again. I suspect my personal bottleneck is getting the honeycomb.

I've helped Gnomeo twice; the ghost wants his skull; the Cat Hedral guard wants a pass; the puppet theatre won't let me in. But I bet I have to deal with the bees first before I can do any of that, right?

Yeah, and already used it to get through Oblivion. Just to make sure, I got back to the grave and summoned the ghost (i didn't even think he would come back again), that's when he asked me to help him cross over. But still I don't see how to help him :-(

To Davikin... It seems you have stumbled on a side quest. This will eventually lead to a trophy. But it involves finding something hidden. It doesnt affect the main quest

I am loving this game. TA's hold a special place in my heart as they were some of the first games I played (on my Acorn Electron no less).

Well I am currently stuck.

So far I have rescued/fed Winnies Cat, unblocked her gas valve and found her honeycomb.

I don't know how to get at the glass cutter. I have read through this page and saw mention of bolt cutters, but have yet to find any.

I have white flowers but need red (and don't seem to be able to pick the red ones by Gnomeo).

And I am missing part of the puppet.

Oh, and I drank the soda!!! (was this a mistake).

So far I have to...
...get a dragon pass from the village hall to ride the dragon taxi
...find a way to mend Cyril's glasses
...get some red flowers for Gnomeo
...make a #### puppet with #### and ####!

Any hints here? (not looking for answers, just hints).

So far I have been to the Market Square (Caravan), Guild's Row (Blacksmith & Laundarette), narrow lane, Cottage (Outside and In), Haunted Grove, Garden Centre, Lover's Grove, Gravel Path and the Beach

And I am carrying A pair of Broken Spectacles, a small Bowl, a thick woollen Blanket, a Bucket, a pair of Bellows, a Gold Ring, some glass Shards, a rusty Saw, a Bouquet of flowers, an Empty Can and a Sticky Sock.

Should I have filled the pot with tlas before I filled it with retaw yloh. Only I don't seem to be able to empty the pot of retaw yloh either at the tnof or the niard.

Looks like I may have to restart.

OK - I am stuck. I have the Spirit Ball, but the Ghost still needs to be crossed. Using the tlas fo tekcub or retaw yloh on the evarg results in "There is no reason to do this at the moment" and "You don't want to do that yet" respectivly.

The puppet tent is empty. I don't get a response from Winnie; Cyril only wants to talk about Births, Deaths and Marriages; Simon only offers grammatical help; the Receptionist asks me what I want, but I don't know how to reply (if I need to at all); The Queen wants her feather; I don't get a response from the Cook and Super Mum isn't in the mood for talking.

Gnomeo and Daisy seem to have dissapeared and I don't know what to do next.

I am carrying:
Bellows, Blanket, Bolt Cutters, Bucket (tlas fo), Pot (retaw yloh fo), Spirit Ball and a Trowel.

I think I have explored everywhere. I'm stumped.

Hi Carrot. If you have the spirit ball you probably have enough to finish the game. Crossing the ghost over is part of a subquest (another trophy). You wont be able to use the salt or water unless you have a reason to. Somewhere there is access to a book whcich describes what to do. Did you ever find the library ticket? That's the one item that is difficult to pinpoint

OK, found the Library Card :) - now have 3 trophies (Forest, Beach & Grave).
I have also gained some Gold Jewlery :).

I still can't seem to catch the Quail (although I would like to find the other 2 trophies first).

I talk to the Cook, and get no response and Daisy is still missing.

Would someone like to give me any hints on what to do next?

I have fixed Cyrils spec, I know how many fingers Simon has, Gnomeo has his red flowers, diamond ring and marriage certificate, Winnie's cat is out of the tree and fed, her gas pipe is unblocked, she has made her honeycombe jam and I have returned her book, the ghost knows who he is, has his skull and has been crossed to the other side, The cook has her salt and the Superior Mum is *coughs* "busy", the recpetionist just asks me what I want and my "+1" has vanished with my invitation.

I am carrying:
Bellows, Blanket, Bolt Cutters, Bucket, Empty Pot, Gold Jewelery, Old Book, Spirit Ball and Trowel.

I have found 3 trophies, Forest, Beach & Grave.

I don't know what to do with the salt block or the trowel. I have given the invite to daisy and she's disappeared, I can't get into the function room and although I gave him a skull the ghost still isn't happy. I know what it says in the old book but i'm guessing holy water is in the inner sanctum and judging by gnomeo's comment I need to make the ice on the steps go away but for that I'm gonna need salt.

I'm getting a bit annoyed here. Please could someone help me

I have really enjoyed this game so far but I am stuck at what I am sure is a very easy point. I don�t seem able to let the ghost know who he is. I am clearly missing something very obvious any help much appreciated.

i cant find the trowel, and cant get the marriage certificate for gromeo. i have 1 coin, but cant seem to get 2 more to buy it, and cant steal it either.

ive saved the cat and fed it, sorted the gas oven, got the jam, helped the builder, gotten the ring, given the id to the ghost and taken the book back.

where can i find the trowel? and what do i do with it?
where can i find more money to get the certificate?

help - game brilliant, having played one of these in years (spectrum days).
It must be simple but i can't pick the red flowers for gnomeo, doing ok otherwise, furnace running, know what tumble dryer will do when time is right, can't open chest yet or get glass cutters.

I'd already won the game with the happy ending and 3 trophies(BK E SS) but I was stuck finding the remaining trophies, particularly the exorcism.

I'd read the old book with the exorcism details and I'd tried using the salt and holy water on the grave and get the "you can't do that yet" responses. Tried it before and after giving the skull to the ghost. Such an easy solution in the end. And that trophy leads to the final trophy.

I thought the combination puzzle for the inner sanctum was particularly amusing.

That's the Shiversword and Loin games all played in the last couple of weeks. I'm an addict. Great games.

Still stuck I think I need to make some more concrete but every time I try to put sand it the grinder Rod says leave it alone even though when I try to talk to him he is,nt there or appearing in the pane.

Sue - have you got the marriage certificate signed by both bride and groom yet? If so then you need to sneak it back into the pile so Cyril will stamp it.

The grinder is used later on something else.

and you'll also need the broken glass.

Yes I,ve got the certificate signed and stamped and its in the out tray but I can,t find any command to get it back out even when I distract Cyril with the bellows.Thanks for your help

I can't remember exactly how I did it now. The only save I have is right after I have picked up the stamped certificate. Have you tried x out tray while Cyril is tidying up his papers?

Okay, this might be a ridiculous question, but I have made the concrete in the 'special' mixer. I now can't get it out. Just wondering if I could have any hints on how to do this. I will be kicking myself if it is easy. Great game by the way. Massive fan of the series. :)

I have been stuck in the same place for about 5 days now....and cannot seem to advance. Here are my tasks:
Collect the Quail Feather to complete your first task as a knight
Find a diamond ring for Gnomeo. Diamond???
When you believe there are spirits nearby, kneel and then pray! (tried this now need to find the skull)
Take Daisy out somewhere posh
Try and find all five secret trophies..(I have the explorer trophy)

The cook won't speak to me, I cannot seem to find the skull, I have examined, searched, used everything on everything as far as I can see....and spoken to everyone...
Can anyone give me a little hint just so I can get a little further please?

I haven,t played this for a while so I may not be much help.I think the skull is in the hamper in the tent.You need to get into the inner sanctum past superior mom have you got the pot of ants?

Yes I have the pot of ants...I have also put the glass cutter into the anvil and released the diamond, just can't find it in my inventory or in the blacksmiths...
It won't let me give the ants to Superior mum....is that what I am supposed to do?

I have restarted again, and managed to find the diamond, finish the wall and am now trying to remember how I got the library book from Winnie last time.....I get no response from her now that I have the pot of jam. Any ideas?

I think you put the ants on the banquet.Have you asked Cyril about death I can,t remember but I think if you do he tells you to go and ask Winnie about a book hope that helps.

this is a great game, cant waite to finish it. just a little problem, i cant work out how to open the function room.
i need to get rid of the ants so i can use the pot for salt.
i hav to release the pirate.
and im not sure about these trophies people are talking about.

now i'm stuck on (amongst other things) the steppes. how do i get rid of the yeti?

also stuck on how to get the honeycombe and how to get into the tent on the beach. Any ideas anyone? anyone at all?!?!?1

How to get rid of the yeti. Te mountain pass is very chilly.... perhaps you can make the steppes slippery.

The honeycomb. Maybe if you protected your hand with something? somthing wooly!

To enter the tent, you have to create an item that you can speak through

I think outside Winnies cottage you see some white flowers x them and follow the bees.As for the metallic items I think one may be something like the bolt cutters I can,t remember now.Hope that helps a bit Sue

I'd been playing the game online at work (on my breaks, obviously!) but have downloaded it at home and really apreciate the save function!!!

i think i'm nearing the end, but i've been stuck with the same problems for some hours now.

how do i help the ghost pass back? i have the salt (and have put it where it needs to go) but not the holy water.

although i have the salt, there's always too much for the cook! how do i give her the right amount? (that's what she said...)

i still need access to the function room.

i know all my posts have ended like this, but... Any ideas!

I,m sorry but you can,t complete the game without the ants and I don,t think you can pick them up again,have you found the ID card yet?And have you used the salt on the steps.I played this ages ago so can,t remember very well but I know I found it really hard which is why I log in sometimes to try and help because I find it really frustrating to get so stuck Sue

Yeah I've got the ID card and used it, along with a circle of Salt. And yeah, i've used the salt on the steppes but not sure what to do once i've done that.

Thanks for all your help Sue,

I restarted so I could get the ants and have finished now! I just wished I'd started with the first game and worked through to this one, instead I found this game and started it before 1 & 2.

Any news on when 4 is out? Can't wait!!! :)
