Lift it. Cj loves the lift command. Certainly a great game so far. I'm still working on the drain thing. I seem to have gotten my plastic block stuck in it now lol.

Ok i'm either stumped or missing something. I have found the correct grave but still have no idea what the code to the door is. I know it has something to do with the name on the grave but am at a loss. I need a little tiny hint.

Ok I got it. I was trying to overcomplicate it lol. Removing one of the i's from the guys name and entering the number of letter in his name and alot of other complicated things. I actually got it by saying the message fast. lol
Great game so far btw.

Just finished. What a great game. A little shorter than some of cj's games but great none the less. It really makes you think. Definately worthy of a five star rating!

Alex, for the safe, examine the front door, the matches and the desk.
There is no way through the front door. You only need to get in through the window.

Could someone say exactly what to do to find the right gravestone? I've tried to point the telescope at everything, look through the telescope everywhere. The point command doesn't work.

To gamer. You don't need to turn it on, it will automatically be done when you stick it to the tripod
Alex... to unlock the door in the loft, you need the loft key. This is quite an old puzzle really. Something to do with the key being in the keyhole

Use the sign on the door then put the screwdriver in the keyhole. The key will fall on the sign. Then take the sign.

The spear you get later. If you havent't examined the hedges then do that. Then you will have something to keep the window open.

fill the pot with seawater, use it and the driftwood ob the campfire then use matches on it. After a bit you will have salt in the pot.

I've only just started playing and I'm stumped! How do I get the shiny thing out of the drain? I have an aerial with putty but I can't get the command. Have I missed something?

You need to put the plastic toy in the south drain then use a pot full of water on it. The shiny thing will wash down to the north drain.

Apparently I can't decode the gravestone message. I believe I know the first two numbers. The second two numbers sound more like letters to me. I'm an American. Do I have to say it out loud quickly with a British accent?

I am an american also however I also had a hard time with this one. It has nothing to do with the name on the grave only the scrawled message in blood.
Say "for one i know" ten times fast. thats how I got it finally.

*Sigh*.
I keep dying at the hands of the demon. I think I'm following the directions in the manuscript, and my salt seems to be effective. However when I throw the stone, it just lands a little distance away from me. Do I have to be in a certain place to throw the spear? Also, what position does the iron blood ring need to be in? Should I light it before or after I summon the demon?

I'm not sure how "capture the demon." I have the blood candles in the chandelier and they're lit. But should it be raised or lowered? Do i need to lower it after I make the salt circle?

At wits end, with the laser pen. I have (seemingly) tried every command to see where the laser pen is pointing, but it keeps sliding off the putty & tripod. It says I must act quick, but everything I enter is wrong I guess. Small hint please.

Hi Brian. When you place the pen there, get to the cemetery as quickly as possible, That way you can find out which grave its pointing at :)

Alas, I have yet to locate the graveyard. I thought the pen was going to lead the way. And I have tried sticking the pen & going North quickly, but as soon as I leave the room, the pen falls. Great game by the way! I haven't played text adventures since I was a kid & was happy to find this site.

I've tried looked at it, examined it, used every item on it, pushed it, spoke to it, pulled it, tried to lift it. I even tried to make sweet love to it. I did notice, while looking at the hedge, that the southeast corner is damaged, but don't know what to do with that information.

Ha ha ha, that was a nail-biter at the end. I really enjoyed this game. I couldn't give it a 5, because it was a little squirrelly. It was duplicating inventory items & the end was very anti-climactic. Not sure if it was supposed to end this way, but mine just ended...

Sue, the combination to the safe is found on various clues. Something small you find in the graveyard, something near a sign and somewhere near the safe itself.

Oh I have just found out how to do that. And have finished the task. Excellent adventure. Had a bit of trouble using objects as spelling not always correct ie specimin instead of specimen but once i realised that it was fine.
