The Maze
Author: Tim Hamilton
Category: Puzzle
Description: You get drunk at a party and the last thing you remember is hitting on a girl. You wake up in the middle of the night in a large hedge maze. Can you get out?
I made this one just to see if I could do it. It's a basic 4 direction hedge maze with a few puzzle and 300 "rooms". Only it's all done in one room.

Hmm, it's a very... special? game... Very confusing. Could you please come with some hints or something, a game with 300 rooms and about 20 objects is hard
to cope with...

First you should head east till you find the red ball then keep going west past the entrance and follow the path till you find the red dispenser.
Where it was 300 rooms I split it up into 2 sections. the north and south. If you get to the maze center then you can go north to the north section.

How do you make the game in one room? Since there are more than one room... In QDK you can't make rooms in rooms, can you?

No it's all done in one room. when you start the game Ii give coordinates. your x=8 and y=0. If you can move north increment y by one.
In the section how to describe rooms in this game I have a variable check if x=8 and y=0 then Print" Maze entrance" else "Hedge maze" for example.
The objects were given properties (position1,position2) to represent there locations in the maze. So after every turn it checks to see if the objects position is the same as yours then it makes it available other wise unuvailable.

I can't find the answer for the blue clue...
The clue reads..
If a man gives one son 12 cents and another son 13 cents what time is it?

Ah this is one of my favorite riddles. what is 12 cents + 13 cents?
25 cents or a quarter.
so the answer is a quarter to 2. or 145.

Why is it a quarter to 2? Anyway, how can I find the blue dispenser, I have left my blue ball in it...

Funny I actually did the same thing when I was test playing it. Go north from the maze center until you can go west then follow that path.
one quarter given to two sons.
a quarter to two.

Ok, what's the answer for the violet clue?
The clue reads..
(The answer to the blue clue - the number of sevens mentioned in the yellow clue) times (the answer to the yellow clue + 1)
I don't understand ' - the number of sevens mentione
in the yellow clue...

The yellow clue has the word seven in it 4 times. So (145-4)x(1+1) or 282

I don't like mazes very much, but this one is allright... In the town I'm living in, we also have a maze. It's smaller than the maze in the game... It's a good game
