I definitely appreciated your writing, and you've made the page feel warm and pleasing despite the nature of your tale.
If you really want to work on it and add some branching, maybe go for gamebook mode. I think you could still apply the effects you had here in the new beta (not sure, but I know how you love to experiment).
I'll save my review for your update :)

Thanks. Yes, I'd like to add a bit more branching, but given it's based on a story, it would be more to flesh out some areas perhaps more than, say, turn it into a game. Or maybe I should just call it an experiment and move on... ;)

It is what it says it is, and I enjoyed it. It reminds me of experiences I've had in the past, which provokes some odd feelings and thoughts...cool!

I did enjoy the story, but there really isn't anything in it at all to make it interactive or a game. Though you did say that in the description, so I'll give it a 4.
