Will you be able to take your place as chieftan or will you be thwarted by the shifty thorgin. This game I believe is much easier than my previous two. The category should probably be fantasy or rpg.

I've gotten the axe weapon, and I've opened the window in the parler. I got the first task, talked to the horse and made the stew. I've also killed the orc. Now I've got to make a salad but I'm out of money which I used to get the stew ingredients. What do I do next?

Also if you ask the seer to predict your future she can provide you with some hints.

The wolf clue is for the rings. The wolf should be at the top. The sun sets in the west.

I spun the rings until the wolf was at the top and the sun was sunset so it could only go bottom left. I spin the remaining ring thinking it will just eventually open the door but it doesn't. What do I do?

That's why i put the button in so you have to get it right. The clue says burning sunset so the sun and the wolf are in the right spot but the fire needs to be near the sun in the lower left.

I've got the eye, but a figure appears. I lower the portcullis trapping it but how do I escape the graveyard?

you mean the figure tried trapping you. Have you killed the two skeletons yet?

I've only killed the skeleton guarding the crypt. I got the eye off the pedestal and the wizard appears. I go south and get the rock from the pressure plate so the figure can't attack me. When I go back in the crypt it kills me instantly. What do I do?

Hmm must be a glitch. your not supposed to be able to go south when the figure appears. raise the portcullis then go into the room where the door puzzle was. wield the shield and wear the helmet. go back in the room where the wizard is.

Have you found the message on one of the graves? It gives you a hint on the correct order to push the plates.

It must be a weight trap. You need to use something on the pedestal. There is a clue on the coffin.

If you give the bear head to inga she makes you the helmet. But if you eat the feast at the halls of valhalla you should have enough health to survive as long as you are wielding the shield.

How do I kill the skeletons in the graveyard? I chase the wizard and it summons 2 skeletons. I attack them with the axe but they slaughter me each time and every time I come back the battle restarts.

Did you learn the cleave attack from Gak? When you get more experience keep going back and talking to gak and he will teach you new moves.
To get out of the graveyard. Reverse the weather. Or in other words reverse the order in which you pressed the plates to open the tomb.

Ok how do I get the diamond without the portcullis closing when in the castle? I killed the evil wizard and when I pull the lever, The portcullis closes. How can I pull the lever when not in the same room as it?

Alex, you will need to give the scroll to someone. It will be obvious when the time comes.
Gamer, use the chisel on the lever when the portcullis is in the up position.

That's a really strange glitch. I played it and it won't let you go to fang mountain if you aren't mounted. If you have the horse you can mount it to get back. If not you will have to restore. That is just bizzare.

go to the inn and ask marta for a room.
I'm racking my brains trying to figure out why it even let you go there while not mounted. Maybe it has to do with you saving and restoring the game or something.

Make sure you take the eye from the man. It won't let you leave there til you find it but if you forgot to take it then you are in trouble.
Examine the dead wizard.

Yup, when I did the if command I put if eye is not in current room the move the eye to on the road to fang mountain.
I should have put if the eye is not in current room and player does not have the eye.

I'm at a stage where I have the axe, i know the horse likes cabbage, but can't get any and can't find the vase to smash so i can get into my room. Where do I find the Vase? If I get into my room, I'll get another potion so I can talk to the horse again.

The vase is on the mantle on the fireplace. Just give 2 tomatoes and a head of lettuce to tessi and she will give you the cabbage.

If you don't have any copper she can give you suggestions on where to get some.
When you first start out you can get some copper by talking to hardin and you can get some by picking up the clothes in your chamber. To get in your chamber you must use what is in the vase on the fireplace mantle on your window then enter your window.

I forget the combo for the rings I will have to find out but there is an opt out in the beginning of the game it asks if you are visually impaired. click yes and the puzzle will display verbally rather than with pictures.

There are 4 plates in the graveyard. One in each corner of the graveyard. You need to press the in a specific order to get the crypt to open. There is a clue to the order written on one of the graves. It's been awhile so I don't remember the exact order but I know that the clue says soemthing about a cold sunrise and such. The sun rises in the east sets in the west. The north is cold etc.
The reverse of it opens the gate. Sorry about your husbands lousy dinners.

The order should be northwest, souteast, southwest, northeast.
press each plate once in that order and the crypt should open.
If you use the reverse order it will close the crypt and open the gates.

You cannot use the bucket on the well directly you need to have other items to go with it. In the maze you should find a bar, bucket, handle and chain.

You can't give up now the ending is funny. At least I thought it was.
The key to beating thorgin is when he jumps back to heal himself thrust at him and you will knock him off balance. Then behead him.

Make sure you have learned the vault move from gak. vault at him to knock him out of the saddle. Then you stand a much better chance against him.

Thanks Tim I an a right dope at times realized I wasn,t wielding the axe.!!! best game so far thought the seer idea was excellent am starting wizard soon so you will no doubt be hearing from me again soon its really good to finish a game I know this isn,t your game but do you know if there is anyway of making the shotgun machine to work in the Mansion.Thanks for all your help and yes I did think the end was funny.

Glad you liked it. I played the mansion when I first got on here. I will have to go back and try it again. Btw don't forget to rate the games.
Even though wizard has much better puzzles and shipwrecked is longer and harder,
Barbarian is my favorite one that I have made so far because of the story line.

Stuck again! scroll for a wizard in a tower. Talked to everyone I can find and only the seer mentions it rather unhelpfully. any hints as to wear to look. Also people on here keep mentioning killing the evil wizard. was that the red one because i didn't kill him.

again, i got through eventually. Ok I've got the dragon scale but a glitch has stopped me. It won't let me exit fang mountain. I'm on the horse but when i click or write south the screen flickers and it swaps back to fang mountain after a second of town. What's going on?

Hmm. Are you sure you are mounted? The only reason it should send you back is if you are unmounted.
There is a glitch in the game as it will let you go to fang mountain without the horse but you can't get back.
I have corrected it but have not uploaded the fixed version yet.

I'm in the large tomb with the eye of the east, a coffin, a statue, and a pedestal. I can't figure out what to do. I think I need to use the bones but I don't know how to use them.

I have the axe, studded leather, helmet, chisel, torch, pile of bones, flint and steel, wooden shield, sack, and stew.

Any hint would be appriciated.

Put the bones in the sack. Then use it on the (eye of the east or the pedestal)

you can only move them by using the menu to turn them left or right.
The clue to the correct combo should be on one of the graves it think.
I believe it says a wolf flees from a burning sun(set or rise) cant remember.
You have to get the picture right then press the button and the door will open.
If you still need help post here and I will open the game and check it.
I think its wolf at the top.

To get there i believe you need to ask the stable boy about the horse in the corner then he will direct you to marta. Then marta will tell you to ask selma for the potion.

One of the crypts has some stones in a coffin. Get a stone and use it on one of the pressure plates. Then go get another stone. repeat until all 4 pressure plates have stones on them.

Are you playing from the browser? This part should display some pictures. If you are playing from the browser then it didn't download them. You can do one or two things. Download the game and save it then unzip and play it. Or say that you are visually impaired at the begining of the game and it will give you a verbal description of the pictures instead.

That's strange. The error comes when the program can't find the pictures. Playing the game under the visually impaired option will fix it for now. That is the only part of the game that has pictures. The wolf needs to be at the top the fire and sun to the bottom left i believe.

If you download and unzip the game there should be pictures in the folder. Move the pictures into the same folder as the game and your saved game and it should work. If you still have a problem I can play the game and give you the exact solution to get you by it.

You need to put the bones in the bag then close the bag and use it on the pedestal. Ps there is still one glitch in the version of the game here. When you go on your next task make sure you mount the horse before you leave and when you come back.

yeah I'm pretty stuck. I've talked to Marta and have the green potion. I've tried to examine the stall and examine the grain, the straw the floor I've talked to everyone I can, killed the orc. looked at horse, the stableboy, have the ax and the studs. Nothing works

Drink the potion. Then talk to the horse. This should allow you to ask tess about the cabbage.

The secret to the door is in the graves. Type examine graves in each area of the graveyard. There should be some switches.
Ps you can use shortcut keys in my games. Ie x = examine.

I just killed the evil wizard. I examined the body and found the lever I open the portcullis but when I grab the diamond it shuts the thing, and I don't have anything to balance it.

really enjoying it so far but i've opened the stone door in the graveyard, can't go down there because it's too dark. Need to make a torch but nothing to light the branch with and can't get back out the gates...stuck

There should be a bit of cloth somewhere n the graveyard. Go to every section and examine or x the graves.

thanks tim don't know how i missed those but found all the ones with stones doh! think i've got to restart it though got to fight the skeletons in the graveyard and my stews disappeared from the inventory! Only got 5 health and dying every time

If you go north from the crypt you will be in the crypt hallway.
Go east from crypt hallway.
So from the crypt go north the east.

Help! I'm stuck!
Okay, 1st I couldn't find the vase. Eventualy I came here and read that I needed to smash a vase, so i went 'look vase' then 'break vase'. My first question is how are you supposed to do it ( I mean, not cheating and reading the comments)?
So I found the vase and got the chisel. Problem 2 that is causing all the trouble: I can't use the chisel on the window!

If anyone can help, much apreciated!

Great game.
There was a bit of a glitch when I was in the market - the game froze up and there was heaps and heaps of stuff in there.
The game also took forever to load (about 5 mins) - I had the same problem playing wizard but at least in this game you didn't really die just lost points.
Looking forward to your future games (esp wizard 2)

You are missing the chain. Once you have all 4 you can use them on each other and then on the well.

I'm at the stone door in the crypt. I can see the image now (I downloaded the game), but they come up as a column and I can't scroll back up to look at the order of the pictures. I'm stuck. Help!

Nevermind. I figured it out by drawing the original configuration, then see how they pictures changed as I rotated the rings.

How the hell do I talk to the horse? It did this:
> drink green potion
You drink the green potion.
You feel a strange understanding enter you mind.

You feel the effects of the green potion wear off.
> speak to horse
The horse whinnies and neighs and stomps it's feet at you.

Strange.. The timer should be set to give you ample time before the potion runs out.
Obviously you should speak to the horse before it runs out.
Are you playing the game on-line or off-line?
If it says the potion runs out right after you drink it then the timer must not be working correctly.

You need to shake and then break the vase in the parlor. Then open the window in the parlor. entet window.
Use the chisel on your window in the alley.

Sorry about the slow response time, I have been a little busy lately.
You should be able to look at the pictures and it will give you an option to move them. The correct combo to it is turn the inner ring left twice. turn the outer ring left once. turn the middle ring right twice then press the button. If you have it wrong and press the button the puzzle will reset. So, after it resets do this combination.

How does breaking the vase help you? Once I smash it - that's it. How do I find whatever was inside it. Btw, I'm playing this game as a visually impaired, also clicked the corresponding button at the beginning of the game.

good potential but i got stuck. used up my copper from the one guy and the orc buying food to try and give the horse and i couldnt afford the potion i needed to talk to the horse. dont think i can progress. kinda confusing too

Wonderful game, lots of colourful characters and intriguing puzzles, I'm not usually into games that involve violence but found I was able to enjoy the game despite the fighting elements because there was so much more to it, well done on making such intricate, challenging games!

Huck Finn, when you've got the gold by talking to Hardin you need to go straight to the seer's hut to buy the potion, it only costs three coins so you will have more than enough after speaking to Hardin, then once you've spoken to the horse you'll know what it wants to eat so you shouldn't need to waste any money. You can get more coins from your bedroom too, break the vase in the parlour to find a chisel, climb out of the window and use the chisel on your bedroom window and climb in to find the money.

Have any one see the food item getting group? I have come across it in the game and once it group you can't use it. For example if you have 2 carrots it group it as carrot2.

Greg, you can find everything you need to make a light source scattered around the graveyard, make sure you examine the graves in each area of the graveyard, you need three separate components to make the torch, a tree branch (which you need to cut down with your ax), a cloth and some flint.
